3D to 2D design software

Hello,

I was thinking this subforum may be helpful in answering my questions.I’m looking for software where I can design simple 3D structures and then “unfold” them to print out flat on paper. Then I could cut, fold, and “put together” the paper structure in 3D. I don’t need anything professional… just some sort of 3D to 2D “unfolding” capabilities for geometric structures.I’m having a really hard time understanding the search words for this.

Please help.
